Education and particularly school education,plays a vital role in life skills development among individuals,as it exposes them to varied experiences in their formative years and has abundant potential to provide them with relevant simulated situations to learn and practice from.
Dr. Deepali Shirgave, Principal of Vishwakalyan English Medium School in Chikhali, Pune, recently attended a Master training program organized by UNESCO, NCERT, and CBSE at NCERT in New Delhi. The program selected 100 principals from CBSE schools across 10 different states in India and focused on prioritizing students’ physical and mental well-being.
The objectives of the program are to increase knowledge , inculcate positive attitudes and enhance life skills in order to promote informed , responsible and healthy behaviour among school going children.
Throughout the workshop, expert resource persons provided valuable insights and guidance. On the final day, participants received certificates from Mr. Manoj Srivastava, Director of NCERT CBSE Training.
