On October 11th, 2024, *DEJAVEDA* , in collaboration with *EduDrone – WE CONNECT* , organized the *Veda School Principal Summit 2024* at Royal Orchid, Central Pune, Kalyani Nagar. The summit centered on the crucial role of value education in schools, and the keynote was delivered by Dr. Shubha Vilas, founder of DEJAVEDA and renowned spiritual leader from ISKCON.
The event began with a warm welcome for Dr. Vilas, featuring an inspiring story on the importance of having a spiritual guide in life by *Dr. Kajal Chhatija, founder EduDrone – WE CONNECT* . She mentioned in the story that everyone’s time will come where they will be lucky to have a spiritual guru in their life. Participants were presented with a grand display of books, including the *Amazon bestseller Open-Eyed Meditation* , which was gifted to each attendee.
The summit featured insightful EduTalk sessions delivered by distinguished speakers, including *Ms. Nivedida Madkikar* , *Ms. Rajas Sardesai Bhosale* , *Ms. Ila Rathore* , *Ms. J. Simoes* , and *Dr. Kavita Roy* . The talks explored diverse aspects of value education, covering topics such as the impact of values, emotional intelligence, social skills, spiritual values, and the pivotal role of teachers in imparting these lessons.
A key highlight of the summit was *Dr. Shubha Vilas’ Masterclass* , where he delved into the connections between the mind, body, and soul—referred to as Monoranjan (mind), Deharanjan (body), and Atmaranjan (soul). He also spoke about four levels of motivation: fear, reward, duty, and love, and explained how school curricula can be designed and curated based on these concepts across different grades.
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony for all participants and a group photo, leaving everyone with a renewed understanding and appreciation of value education. Each participant walked away with new insights and a transformative perspective on how values shape holistic learning in schools.
