Prominent faculty members, including Dr. Pooja Dikshit Joshi, Ms. Tehzib Barodawala, Ms. Manjari Nandy, Dr. Gunjan Shrivastava, and Mr. Paul Thomas, held an engaging discussion with students about prioritizing mental health alongside physical health. They encouraged open dialogue, reducing the stigma around mental health, and promoting self-care practices.
The entire department, from faculty to office members and students, participated wholeheartedly in the event, underscoring the community’s collective responsibility to nurture a culture of understanding and support. The discussions emphasized that strength lies not in silence but in the courage to speak up and reach out.
With powerful messages from the leaders, this event was a call to action for all—acknowledging that mental health is everyone’s concern. Together, we can create a more inclusive, supportive environment, breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, and ensuring no one feels alone in their journey toward well-being.
This was the spirit of the day, resonating throughout the discussions and interactions, reminding us that mental health is just as vital as physical health and that it’s time to make it a priority in every space we occupy.
