Badal, Punjab – The Mata Jaswant Kaur Memorial School in Badal, Punjab, hosted a two-day Capacity Building Program for teachers on “Promoting Critical and Creative Thinking Skills” organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The event took place on the 2nd and 3rd of June 2023 and witnessed the participation of teachers from various CBSE Schools across Punjab.
The program aimed to enhance the teaching methodologies and skills of educators by focusing on promoting critical and creative thinking among students. The resource persons for the event were Dr. Rakesh Sehgal and Mr. Ajay Khosla, both esteemed experts in the field of education.
Distinguished guests in attendance included Sardaar Gurucharan Singh and Dr. Jayashish Sethi, the Chief Guest and Director of Guru Gobind Singh College of Technology and Management, respectively. Other notable guests included Dr. Vanita, Principal of Dasmesh Girls College of Education, Mrs. Ritu Nanda, Principal of Dashmesh Girls School, and Mr. Gurjot Singh, Principal of Oxford School.
The event commenced with a soulful rendition of Shabad Gayan, creating a serene atmosphere and setting a positive tone for the program. The teachers actively participated in various sessions and workshops conducted by Dr. Rakesh Sehgal and Mr. Ajay Khosla, gaining valuable insights and practical strategies to implement in their classrooms.
